Lets see... Oh yeah, there's not much you can do except be better; in every part, unless you plan on taking care of it yourself. Enabling, do it with the right person and the results can keep you in a job.; spare the rod and spoil the child. A better choice would be not to become the rod but just be the better person.
On Right Action
"Codes of ethics are most often associated with prohibitions: Don't do this, don't do that. All the spiritual traditions I know have more or less the same lists of don'ts. This makes sense, since all the don'ts elaborate on the awareness that if we are not alert, our naturally arising impulses of greed and anger might lead us to do something exploitive or abusive. The fundamental rule is, 'Don't cause pain.'
Traditional Buddhist texts, when they talk about Right Action, use the terms hiri and ottappa, usually translated as 'moral shame' and 'moral dread.' Shame and dread have ominous overtones in English, but I rather like these terms. I appreciate the sense of awesome responsibility they are meant to convey. Collectively, what they mean is that every single act we do has the potential of causing pain, and every single thing we do has consequences that echo way beyond what we can imagine. It doesn't mean we shouldn't act. It means we should act carefully. Everything matters."

| Research
has identified some other ways
to influence mental performance: |
Omega-3s are
known to be particularly crucial
constituents of the outer membrane
of brain cells. It is through
the fat-rich cell membrane that
all nerve signals must pass.
In addition, as learning and
memory forge new connections
between nerve cells, new membranes
must be formed to sheathe them.
All brain cell membranes continuously
need to refresh themselves with
a new supply of fatty acids.
A growing amount of research
suggests that the omega-3s are
best suited for optimal brain
function.
Sugar can make
you sharp-although no one can
figure out what is the right
dose at the right time.
Carbohydrates-especially when eaten with no protein or fat-may indeed be
mentally soothing. Muzak for the mind. There are times when we all need some
of that...... more? |

If you dont have anything nice to say... |
|
|
|
I helped a little old lady walk across the street. I did it cause she needed help and cause I wanted to help.
You know, those days when you wanna say something too someone, especially when you know your are 100% right, but, its not worth saying it cause you'll be a doodoo drop for saying it? Well It happened today, I kept my mouth shut... Afterward there was kind of a feeling of being cheated there...
Sometimes I guess it's best to just keep it to myself, and be grateful that I know better, which kinda sucks.
I'll share, I always share, it's instinctive with me it's how I was raised. But lately, what I am, what I know and what I have done is something I think should be little more privet these days...

Gonna share something here....
The APA in NYC...
Imagine. You have one thousand nine hundred people to check, monitor, database and make a judgement call, based on a somewhat vague recorded weekly bracket system designed to keep the people informed with a "close approximation" from a hand written recording of ones skill level every week for about fifteen weeks in a row-three-seasons a year.
I think, maybe, I could be wrong about this, but, their is bound to be a few mistakes on judgement here-and-there during the course of this kind of management of people, places and skills levels. |
The APA members in NYC should have a Handicap Advisory Committee (HAC) with or without the league operator establishing one.
Do you think one person can manage this alone? Or would one need help? Over handicapping players on one's team, or, under-handicapped players in one's division is sometimes not a mistake, but more of an indication, that the powers that be of a league already divided against itself cannot let it stand on its own merits and growth.
It has been in my experience in the APA, an H.A.C is needed. We are in the year 2011, the current system is outdated. |

15
Percent is a blog documenting people,
and companies who have never semed to
work in the service industry, or don't
think to tip at least 15% on deliveries,
and instead opt for 2 dollars on everything.
This is
for all the people who have been handed
$80 on a $78 order and told "keep
the change". Thanks ass-hole.

Karma
is not a circle
it’s
a horizontal swirl, on the
plane spiraling forward,
at speeds up to your own
undoing.
If
you turn around to look,
you might predict what’s
coming back at ya, good
or bad.
If you
look back to long, you might
miss something, or crash
into it; depending on your
Karma.
A
bet for most is to just
live the moment, and for
others, to just run away.

It was like a romance

If

or more truthful than that, maybe,
we will fail.

a Sky of Pork and Peas |
Strange days |
|
|

|
I am beginning to believe that wisdom is not always something that happens with time for some people.
Lately the results of passive aggressive is not a sure thing if you filter it thru a bull horn. I'm getting dirty looks, I'm being fed pork and peas, I'm getting invited and not invited and the further away I get from my old proverbs the more I'm hearing those same proverbs from people I was known for as being a little paranoid and crazy; gaslighting they call it.

"I have always despised the whining yelp of complaint and cowardly resolve" ~Robert Burns, Scottish Poet known as the Bard of Ayrshire.
|

|
Not much is changing except the colors of the sky and the food I have been eating and my health. I guess if you invest time in something you enjoy, it doesn't matter if you see its a waste of time for others.
He got hit by a fast moving car and I said to him as he lay on the ground bleeding, "that was your 'car'-ma catching up to you you passive aggressive prick."
I have never made a penny or a profit or an advancement of the quality of my life with my whimsical glamour and pretty perspective of things. But I have had a drink or two, a meal or two and some appreciation, which is always nice. But lately sugar and spice like passive aggressive turns my stomach if I eat it to fast.

My sandwich. Just want to get it out there..
Random thought cloud
I said to him "No thanks, that would be like taking a 5 years old A.D.D kid to the play ground. If the kid is not on a leash you're going to lose him the second your back is turned to only then later find him either playing with someone he shouldn't be playing with, jumping off of something very high or staring at something shiny, dangerous and full danger ". Again no thanks, dude. I'd rather spend my money on awesome sandwiches. |
